Win a flight to India with the HOPE Foundation

The International Rose of Tralee 2012 Nicola McEvoy has been helping The Hope Foundation launch their National Fundraising Campaign ‘A Day of Hope’.

The Hope Foundation is calling on schools, companies and individuals around Ireland to volunteer on Friday 12th October and lend a helping hand to sell the Butlers HOPE chocolate bars which are priced at €2.

For each bar sold, a child in India can be vaccinated against potentially life-threatening diseases. The aim is to sell 50,000 bars to raise much needed funds for street children and their families living in extreme poverty across Kolkata. By buying one bar of chocolate you could help save a child’s life.

As an incentive for people to get involved, Emirates Airlines have sponsored return flights from Ireland to India for the volunteer who sells the most charity chocolate bars over the month of October. This is a fantastic opportunity for HOPE, an Irish charity which has being working with some of the world’s most disadvantaged children and families in India for over 13 years, to give their biggest supporters the chance to travel to Calcutta and see where all their fundraising money has been spent, to see the projects, the children, the tears and the smiles with their own eyes.

If you would like to help those who can’t help themselves, Nicola urges you to buy a Butlers HOPE bar of chocolate for only €2 and in doing so, better the lives of the street and slum children who desperately need your help.
