Welcome to The Waterford Rose Centre Website.
The Waterford Rose Centre is part of The Rose Of Tralee International Festival and holds the annual Waterford Rose Selection whereby one lucky girl is crowned The Waterford Rose.
The Waterford Rose has won the coveted title of The Rose Of Tralee on two seperate occasions:
1977- Orla Burke
1983- Brenda Hyland.
The Waterford Rose Centre hosts a number of social events in the lead up to the selection night in order to allow the hopefull entrants a chance to interact with each other and to avail of the Rose Commitee to find out in detail whats in store. A briefing night also takes place so that the entrants have a chance to ask any questions they may have, as well as gain an insight into what the Rose Of Tralee is all about. Lifelong friendships blossom throughout the process which is fully in line with the ethos of The Rose Of Tralee.
