Chloe Heslin Limerick
I am a native of Limerick City and qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2012 from Trinity College, Dublin. I am 23-years-old and currently working as a Research Assistant in Dublin with Professor Orla Hardiman in the area of Motor Neurone Disease.
I am a keen musician and started playing the oboe and recorder at a young age. I have played with the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland, the Irish Youth Wind Ensemble and I have competed in many local and national competitions including Feis Ceoil in Dublin. I have played the recorder with the Vienna Boys Choir and have also performed music for RTE’s Killinaskully.
I have recently taken up cycling and participated in the Cycle Against Suicide event in April. Since being selected as the Limerick Rose, I have been very fortunate to be involved as an Ambassador with organisations such as the Cystic Fibrosis Association- Mid West Branch and Pieta House in Limerick. I am thoroughly enjoying my time as the Limerick Rose. I have met some great people and made some fantastic friends. I am really looking forward to the year ahead.
