Put your Community on the map!
The Rose of Tralee International Festival is delighted to be hosting Rose Selection events in towns and villages across Ireland in search of Community Roses & Rose Escorts!
Our Festival connects the global Irish diaspora, and this is a fantastic opportunity to extend that reach to include your community in that celebration, by selecting your Community ambassadors at a gala event held in your locality.
This will be a fun event for all of the community to support, where young men and women, their families, friends and supporters, can come together to celebrate their homeplace.
Community Rose events supporting worthy local causes
We want to bring the magic of the Rose of Tralee to communities all around Ireland and celebrate the young women and men who are at the heart of them. In addition, these events will help give back directly to your community, by contributing to your local cause.
We are currently engaging with communities to plan Community Rose Selection events for this year. These events will take place from November to March around the country.
By linking up with a local charity or community group in need of fundraising, we will engage with local groups and work with them to ensure that the Community Rose Selections are not just raising the profile of their Community but also supporting a worthy cause of their choosing.
If your community group would like to get involved, let us know via email at [email protected]. The selected ambassadors of your locality will hold the title of Community Rose and Rose Escort for the year and will attend local events, festivals and launches, as well as representing your community at county level, putting your community on the map!
