Young girls aged from six to 10 from all over Ireland are being invited to enter the selection process to find Rose Buds for this year’s Rose of Tralee International Festival which will take place from August 18 to 22.
The most important aspect about being a Rose Bud is that it is a completely fun experience. Each girl will be twinned with a Rose, take part in two parades, attend an exclusive Rose Bud Party with the Roses and much more during the week-long festival.
Everyone who enters the selection process must pay a €25 processing fee – €5 from every application will be donated to Barretstown, a not-for-profit camp for children with cancer and other serious illnesses located at Barretstown Castle, Ballymore Eustace, Co Kildare.
To enter visit www.roseoftralee.ie and complete the Rose Bud application form. Applications will remain open until Friday June 30th.
Each girl selected will be paired with an International Rose during the festival. This year’s Rose Buds will take part in two parades during the Festival and get to soak up the atmosphere in Tralee from the very heart of the festival.
